Shalom there.

Can anyone tell me if someone makes 1/35 scale 175 mm ammo? I know Verlinden made a set many years ago but I think it is long out of production. I'd like to buy this set or if someone has it, I'd be willing to pay them to cast me some of the ammo. Does anyone have the Verlinden 175 mm ammo set they'd be willing to sell?

Does anyone else make 175 mm ammo?

Is this the right area to ask this in?

Thanks and cheers from Shimon

Doesn't this kit come with ready rounds?

Sincerely,
Mark

Shimon,
I haven't forgotten you. I've been working overtime this past week or so and now with 30" of snow to shovel, and the entire metropolitan area of Washington, DC shut down because of it, (including the Post Office) I haven't had a chance to post the tracks. But I will!! The first chance I get.

Thanks for your patience.

Sincerely,
Mark

Shalom.

I haven't opened the one I have now but I don't recall seeing any ammo in the kit I had about 10 years ago that I sold then, along with the Verlinden 175 mm ammo set, to a good friend of mine.

It looks like I'll be having fun over the next couple of years, because I have a fair number of kits that can be adapted to IDF artillery. I have the M-107, the M-110, an Itlaeri Kangaroo (the M-7 Priest minus the 105 mm howitzer) and an Italeri 105 mm howitzer kit. Plus I have a Tamiya 25-punder gun and crew kit and the Italeri 2 1/2 ton truck to pull it.

Cheers from Shimon

Hi,
AFV club do a nice 155mm/175mm ammo set with decals. You also get the same ammo set in the AFV club M548 tracked cargo carrier.

Hope this helps,

Paul.

Shalom Paul.

Can you provide a product number for that set? Yesterday I ordered the AFV CLub 155mm/203mm ammo set. I didn't know they made one with 175mm ammo. Are you sure it isn't the 155mm/203mm ammo set that you are thinking of?

Keeping my fingers crossed and thanks from Shimon

I have the AFV M-548 kit and don't need the ammo from the kit. If you give me your adress I can snail mail those to you. The kit has the shells, crates to put them on tube for propelent (I think) but no decals. Let me know if you want them.

Cheers J-W

Shalom.

Today I opened both the Italeri M-107 and the M-110 kits I have. They are both supposed to have three ready rounds in them. Each round is molded length-wise in two-pieces. I can make molds and cast more 175 mm ammo.

Unfortunately the M-110 was packaged wrongly and it has two B parts-trees instead of one but it doesn't have the C-parts-tree which is the parts-tree with both the entire gun assembly and the three ready-rounds.

Cheers from Shimon
